Spa Products and Returns

In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.

Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards

Payments are accepted via cash, most major credit cards, and Woodhouse Spa gift cards. Gift cards hold a stored value redeemable for products and services at face value but may not be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at purchase, and the available balance will be applied. Prices vary by location and may change without notice. Each spa is an independently owned franchise and is solely responsible for gift card liabilities at its location. Gift card redemption is subject to location- or state-specific restrictions and expirations. Gift cards are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, and any unused balance will remain on the card. Woodhouse is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of gift cards, and no warranties apply. Service series are non-refundable but may be converted to spa credit. A $50 fee applies to returned checks, plus any collection costs. Gratuities are not included and are at the guest’s discretion.

Spa Requirements/Age Restrictions

Woodhouse Spa does not provide services to guests under 18 and reserves the right to limit or prohibit services for underage guests. Children are welcome in the spa and boutique. The following age requirements apply at Woodhouse Spa Downtown Charleston: Guests must be 18+ for massage, body treatments, rituals, facials, waxing, and solo nail services. Guests ages 16+ may receive a facial or nail service if a parent or guardian is present at the spa for the duration of the service. Guests ages 12+ may receive nail services only if a parent or guardian is present in the same service room. Guests under 21 are not permitted to access the mimosa bar, even with parental consent. We have the right to card guests or prohibit alcohol consumption.

This relaxing reflexology treatment starts with a shea butter-and-sugar foot exfoliation, followed by pressure on specific reflex points. Reflexology differs from a standard foot massage by focusing on these points to relieve stress, promote deep relaxation, and restore balance to the body. While massage relaxes muscles and improves circulation, reflexology aims to clear blocked energy channels and enhance overall well-being by manipulating nerve endings in the feet. Techniques include kneading the ball of the foot, pulling toes, tracing the heel, and pressing into the arch. The result is improved blood flow, nutrient delivery, and nerve impulses throughout the body.

Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling

As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.

To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

All About The Head Spa

All hair textures are welcome, as our Waterfall Scalp Experience focuses primarily on scalp health. We do require unobstructed access to the scalp and are unable to perform services on guests with extensions, braids, or sew-ins that limit access. Please do not wash your hair immediately before your visit; however, hair and scalp should be clean and washed within the last three days. Excess product buildup may interfere with treatment effectiveness. This service may not be suitable for guests with vertigo, those over 28 weeks pregnant, or individuals with back, neck, or spinal concerns, or motion sensitivity, as the treatment requires lying on your back with gentle head tilting. While relaxing, this experience is therapeutic rather than massage-focused, and stronger or extended massage requests cannot be accommodated. Guests with medical conditions or scalp and neck sensitivities should contact the spa prior to booking.

To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Credit cards are required to reserve all appointments, including those using gift cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
